Scope of accreditation and approval:

Private Pilot Licence   

The PPL course requires a minimum of 45 flying hours.

Seven theoretical examinations has to be passed on-line within 14 attempts after passing the first subject. The pass mark for all subjects is 75%. The subjects are the following:

  1. Principles of Flight    

  2. Aircraft Technical and General

  3. Aviation Law

  4. Meteorology

  5. Flight Planning and Performance

  6. Navigation

  7. Human Performance

A restricted radio telephony certificate is required, which entails a course and examination for which 75% is also the pass mark.

An oral test proving proficiency in English needs to be complied with. Exemption may be granted if sufficient proof is provided that the relevant level of English has been obtained from an educational institution.

 

 

What's New

The FAGG secondary radar has been procured and civil works/installation is in progress. Operational date is scheduled for November 2009.
